Beyoncé was “in shock” as she won best country album during the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, accepting the honor from previous category winner Taylor Swift.
“Wow, I really was not expecting this,” Beyoncé said after hugging her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy to take the stage. “I wanna thank God, oh my god, that I’m still able to do what I love after so many years.”

During her speech, Beyoncé thanked her “beautiful family,” as well as “all the incredible coutnry artists that accepted this album.”
