Keleigh, who is married to actor Miles Teller, shared a photo of her home decimated by the Pacific Palisades fire: “There are no words”
Keleigh Teller is mourning the loss of her Los Angeles home, which was reduced to rubble from the raging Pacific Palisades wildfire, and the sentimental possessions left behind.
In a message shared to Instagram on Jan. 9, the model, 32, expressed sorrow over losing her wedding dress, sharing that she wishes she “grabbed” the meaningful item when she and her husband, Miles Teller, evacuated their neighborhood. “Wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out,” she wrote.
The actress also shared a photo of her still-standing home surrounded by clouds of smoke before it was burned down in the devastating disaster.
“To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them,” she added in the caption.
Keleigh and Miles married in September 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. Before tying the knot, they dated for four years after meeting at a Grammys afterparty. They became engaged in August 2017 while on a safari trip in South Africa.
In an interview with Vogue released at the time, Keleigh shared details on her custom Monique Lhuillier bridal gown.
“I wanted to keep it elegant and classic since our ceremony was in a church, but I also wanted there to be a light feel to the dress,” she said. “We started with a pretty simple dress that I redesigned a bit to get the perfect timeless feel,” she added.
Per the outlet, she also wore one of her mom’s necklaces, which is something all of her sisters wore on their wedding days.
This past August, the Tellers celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, an occasion that saw Keleigh proposing and surprising her husband with a boat she bought. They also memorialized the milestone by getting matching tattoos on their ring fingers in September.
The Tellers aren’t the only celebrities who have been affected by the harrowing blaze.
Billy Crystal, Ricki Lake, Cameron Mathison and Paris Hilton are among the stars who have confirmed their homes are gone.
PEOPLE reported that Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam, John Goodman, Jennifer Grey and others also lost homes.
