Before joining the Kansas City Chiefs as a tight end, Travis Kelce accepted a scholarship at the University of Cincinatti, where he joined his brother Jason Kelce in playing for the Bearcats.

He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, signing a four year, 3.12 million rookie contract and beginning what would turn out to be a legendary career. Fast forward to 2023, when Travis would lead to Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory alongside Patrick Mahomes and other key players, and famously face off against his own brother, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles in the big game in Glendale, Arizona. The Chiefs took the win at 38-35, and Travis became part of history. But it was later that year that his fame would reach stratospheric heights, when he’d embark on an epic romance with pop megastar Taylor Swift. Now, ahead of yet another Super Bowl, (this time against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas,) take a look back at #87’s remarkable evolution from his early career to full blown NFL superstar.
